About the Firm
McArdle & Vosskuhler, PC is a respected and experienced law firm, practicing exclusively in Family Law. Our practice encompasses divorces, legal separations, domestic violence, child custody and support matters, paternity issues, move away cases, spousal support, post judgment modifications, prenuptial agreements and all other matters related to any family law issue you may have. Our main office is located by the Orange County airport in Newport Beach, however we also have a satellite office in Riverside County to better serve our Inland Empire clients.
We are sensitive to what each individual’s family issues may be, while working hard to ensure the most informed and financially favorable result in resolving each case. This is often a highly emotional and difficult time in a client’s life, and we understand and respect that. We know when to be aggressive and stern in our representation, but also when our client requires a more compassion and kind approach to the situation. We are here to help you through each step to take the pressure off you. It our belief that a person is unique, every case is different, and therefore it is necessary to give each client personal attention and quality representation. We are attorneys that focus only on Family Law because we enjoy working with people and working closely with our clients. We are different from most firms. You will not become lost in the size of the firm, or fall victim to a caseload that cannot be managed. You as the client are our ultimate priority.
Experience
As an experienced Family Law firm, we fully prepare for each case in order to aggressively litigate each matter. The partners in the firm are Lisa McArdle and Derek Vosskuhler, a Certified Family Law Specialist, with over thirteen years experience in the Court room from hearings through complex long cause trials. We provide experienced, knowledgeable attorneys that practice Family Law exclusively, and as a small firm a case is not assigned to one attorney, rather all attorneys are aware of the status of your case, able to answer your questions and to work with you directly.
Hard Work
We work hard for each and every client, as well as provide the personal attention to each case that we believe is so necessary in Family Law matters. We are well aware of what a difficult time this is, more often than not, for our clients. Our firm takes pride in its ability to aggressively litigate cases for our clients. However, at the same time we encourage settlement of a case if at all possible so as to avoid often costly litigation. Often times a settlement approach is very effective in resolving issues.
Relationship
It is our belief that a relationship should be formed between the client and our firm to fully understand both the emotionally stressful issues and the financial issues. This approach to each case promotes a better understanding as the matter progresses of how the issues are resolved by working together, and ultimately allow us to achieve a more expeditious and favorable result.

Personal Attention
We believe in providing personal attention to our clients. Lawyers often have a poor reputation for being difficult to reach or slow in their response. We recognize that, which is why we return calls and e-mails quickly and will do everything possible to provide a response to your needs or questions. When a client has a question or concern, that concern is answered as quickly as possible by an informed attorney with working knowledge of the case.
Fair and Equal
Many of our clients have a substantial net worth. In many of those cases one spouse has controlled the finances and the other has little or no knowledge of the financial position of the marriage. We are experienced in discovering the assets to achieve a fair and equal disposition. We are also experienced in preserving your assets so they are not unfairly taken and out of your control.
